Promotes Better Sleep

Working out can improve the quality of your sleep. As you use up energy during exercise, your body knows that it needs to sleep in order to replenish itself, making yourself more relaxed and ready to hit the sheets.

Regularly working out can uplift your mood, causing you to feel more refreshed, happier, and can even decrease levels of anxiety. It also boosts your energy by improving your endurance, as well as your strength.

Improves Brain Health and Memory

Exercise can increase blood flow going to the brain, which will improve the brain's functionality. It also promotes our ability to remember and learn things by increasing the size of our hippocampus.

Where should you start?

If you are new to working out, you can start off with something simple, like the following:

  • walking for 20-30 minutes

  • climbing stairs

  • going for a light jog
